Crystal River Wild and Scenic Social, Saturday September 24
13 Moons Ranch will be hosting the Crystal River Wild and Scenic Social on the banks of the beautiful Crystal River under Mt. Sopris. This will be a family friendly event with kids activities, live music, and a chance to learn more about the Wild and Scenic initiative for the Crystal River. We recommend biking to the venue, only 4 short miles on the Crystal River bike path from Carbondale, and you will be rewarded with a free raffle entry.
Let Them Roar (http://letthemroar.com/) will be headlining the show. Scavenger Industries will be hosting activities for the kids so you can enjoy the event without having to worry. There will be opportunities to talk with board members of the Crystal River Wild and Scenic Foundation and the Crystal River Caucus to learn more about protecting one of the last free flowing rivers in the United States.
Roaring Fork Beer Co and Marble Distilling Co will be hosting a beer garden and Field2Fork will be partnering with Crystal River Meats and Wild Mountain Seeds for some tasty bites from the kitchen. A portion of the sales from the food and drinks, and proceeds from the raffle will benefit the Crystal River Wild and Scenic fund.
Tickets are $15 at the gate and also available at Roaring Fork Beer Company, Aloha Mountain Cyclery or below.
Wild Mountain Seeds Greenhouse Tour at Sunfire Ranch, 3 - 5 pm

There will be several tasting stations along the tour, including his heirloom tomatoes, which may just be the best in the valley. Guest will get a seed packet at each station so they can grow their own next year. Roaring Fork and Marble Distilling will have special tastings on hand to make sure you don't get thirsty.

Mid Summer's Ranch Dream, Sustainable Settings - July 19
We are excited to be partnering with Roaring Fork Beer Co, Marble Distilling, and local growers for some very special dinners this summer.
Field 2 Fork Kitchen hosts a Mid-Summer's Ranch Dream, an evening in the fields of Sustainable Settings and at the table with artisanal culinary and local libations from Roaring Fork Beer Company and Marble Distilling Co.
From the fertile Biodynamic garden soils and pastures of Sustainable Settings, we bring you the makings of a memorable evening on the Crystal River under Rocky Mountain Skies. Guests will have the unique experience of tasting dishes from the field you are standing in with local drinks and appetizers at every stop on the whole system ranch tour given by Sustainable Settings co-founder, Brook LeVan. Learn of the Biodynamic farming practices and the soil fertility cycle that regenerates health in our food and in your dinner. Brook will discuss the rich diversity of livestock, vegetable crops, dairy products that make up this health-generating whole ranch organism.
After the tour, guests will gather in the orchard for live music, dinner and drinks and will stay hydrated with a sustainable special, the “Raw” Dude from Marble Distilling and seasonally inspired craft beers from Roaring Fork Beer Co. Chef Jerry Donohue and Field 2 Fork have planned their most adventurous main course to date and will be working with the Carbondale Clay Center to bring guests something that’s not to be missed. Savor a meal that has come from 1,200 feet of you plate!
To celebrate the full moon and the mystical setting of the ranch and Mt. Sopris, we recommend riding your bike to the ranch. A group will be departing from the RFBC tasting room at 5:15 and returning under the full moon. Be sure to dress appropriately and bring a headlamp if you will be riding your bike. There is also parking available at the ranch.
Bring your sweetheart, bring a friend, come hungry and leave happy with a better connection of the source of your food as we bring flavor back into our lives, to our plates and down to earth…
Seats are limited and when they are gone, they are gone!
$125 per person. Only 50 seats available.
